A tad longer version:
I am an artist and a creative media maker, turned documentarian using animation. I have extensive experience in short-form video work, documentary work for non-profit organizations and other agencies, as well as legal and evidentiary filming and photography. I’m comfortable in small work environments and also larger scale projects that rely on strong team-work. I have over 10 years experience working in non-profit and educational organizations. I’ve been a working artist (film, video, photography and participatory projects) for over a decade; making stuff since pre-school.

My personal and collaborative art projects and film/ video art projects have been exhibited internationally, supported by grants and awards from agencies such as The British Council,  Creative Work Fund, The Center for Cultural Innovation, Cal Humanities, Pacific Pioneer Fund, America-Israel Cultural Fund, and others.  I was awarded Creative Capital Award in 2019, a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2016. My animated documentary  Last Day of Freedom was nominated  for a Documentary Short Subject Academy Award in 2016, and won the 2015 Best Short Documentary at the IDA (International Documentary Association), Best Short Jury Award and The Filmmaker Award at Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, as well as Best Short Audience Award at SF Doc Fest (San Francisco, CA), Justice for All Impact Award at (In)Justice for All Film festival (Chicago IL, all 2015), The Golden Strands Outstanding Achievement Award for Short Documentary at Tallgrass Film festival (Wichita KS), and The Hamptons International Film Festival Best Short Documentary Award, among others.
